Our Success Story…

Village Faqeer Nanik Yousif has more than three thousand households and it is one of the dense populated villages of Taulka Gambat, District Khairpir Mir’s.

The village children, especially girls were challenged with seeking education out of the village. The situation had impacted overall, and specifically the education of the girls.  Nearest school to the village is at about distance of 4KM.  Allowing children to go school at such distance unaccompanied posed concerns for their children’s mobility to commute.

Since, the inception of Bright Future High School, the problem of parent’s concerns was mitigated; whilst, a monthly fees Rs. 500 was still unaffordable for majority of the struggling parents.

Recently, Hadi Mahdi Social Welfare Association (HMSWA) took an important step to collaborate with Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), and adopted the school.

At present, around five hundred boys and girls are pursuing their education (Kindergarten to Matric). It is free of cost and students are provided free text books.

Besides, the parents are involved through a participating way that they can monitor the progress of the school. It has helped to mobilize community at large – increase in   enrollment, especially education of the out of school girls children.

HMSWA is committed to the quality and free education and envisages the model school to a model college in the coming days, and adopted more schools to make education accessible and affordable for both parents and children.
