Socio-Economic indicators of the development in Sindh mainly rural areas of the province have the lowest household income putting girls and women at risk of poverty and lack of financial empowerment. HMSWA has generated evidence by its Hadi Mehdi Center for girls and women to develop skills and contribute to household income to increase financial decision-making and women empowerment overall.
Families and their livestock were evacuated during floods with the support of volunteer teams in the areas through conventional and motor boats. Evacuated families were provided with cooked food packs and fodder for their animal stock. Emergency assistance was provided to make arrangements for mosquito nets, safe drinking water, and repairing homes and tents were provided.
