HMSWA has a focus on the increasing problem of the main source of water, which is recharged from the Indus basin and increasingly polluted, open defecation, and growing salted water.

HMSWA has supported several families with the provision of hand pumps and installation to ensure access to safe drinking water. HMSWA also surveyed solar-based water purification filter plants and looks for opportunities to implement them.

We are committed to strengthening alternative ways of working to ensure access to safe and clean drinking water. HMSWA also aims to promote health and hygiene practices through behavioral changing interventions. We focus on communities having no drinking water resources and practice open defecation.
